She has extensive experience as a substitute teacher with Montgomery County Public Schools and as a Lead Education Supervisor with the Leadership Institute, where she managed classrooms, supported youth development, and implemented behavior-management strategies.

Janice’s additional professional experience in security and crisis response strengthens her ability to maintain safety, de-escalate conflicts, and create stable environments for vulnerable individuals. She has also served as a caregiver for a family member with dementia, deepening her skill in empathetic, patient-centered support. Janice holds a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Washington Adventist University and maintains AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
