Human Trafficking Awareness Month

Dear FAIR Girls Community,

As Human Trafficking Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to pause and thank you—for learning, listening, and standing with survivors. Awareness months shine an important light on an issue that is too often hidden, but the reality is this work does not end when the month is over.

At FAIR Girls, our commitment to survivors continues every day of the year. Long after January ends, we remain focused on providing safe housing, trauma-informed services, individualized case management, and pathways to healing and independence for girls and young women impacted by human trafficking and exploitation. Through Andrea Home and Vida Home, prevention education, and survivor-centered trainings, we will continue showing up—consistently and compassionately.

You don’t have to stop showing up either.

Here’s how you can continue making a difference beyond this month:

  • Stay informed by following trusted, survivor-centered organizations and sharing accurate information (like us!)
  • Speak up when you see misinformation, harmful myths, or exploitation normalized.
  • Donate your money or time to help sustain critical services and long-term support for survivors
  • Contact us to learn more about our free trainings for workplaces, schools, and community events

Awareness is only the first step. Sustained action is what creates real change.

Thank you for being part of a community that believes survivors deserve safety, dignity, and opportunity—not just for one month, but always.

With gratitude,
FAIR Girls, Inc.

P.S. If you missed any of our awareness month highlights or want to stay connected with our work throughout the year, we invite you to follow along and continue learning with us through our social media platforms.
