Laurie Culkin D’Angelo

Laurie has worked in the anti-human trafficking field since 2014 in government and non-profit roles. Prior to joining FAIR Girls, Laurie served as the Director of Anti-Human Trafficking Policy for the Maryland Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention. Laurie previously worked with survivors of sex and labor trafficking as an attorney and pro bono attorney coordinator. Laurie has a B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in Health and Human Services and Sociology, and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Laurie is currently pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in DC in hopes to combine her experience in legal services, public policy, program development, and direct victim services to better serve the anti-human trafficking movement at the individual and national levels.
