Ashling Bowen

Ashling Bowen is the Prevention Education & Outreach Specialist for FAIR Girls. Ashling Bowen has lived in many different communities across the United States. She is passionate about victims’ rights and raising awareness & recognition for survivors of abuse nationwide. She has earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Addictions Counseling from Montana State University – Bozeman. She is currently enrolled in a Master of Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling program to further her understanding of victims/survivors mental health and physical, social, and economic well-being.

Ashling is particularly interested in the cross-cultural interactions between rural communities and urban cities, and each of these different types of communities’ impacts on human trafficking and victimization patterns. She has previously worked for local & state government, for a women and children’s residential recovery home, in education programs and the victims advocacy office through her university. She has also volunteered with multiple nonprofits and organizations across Montana and the DMV area.
